EUROPEAN MASTERS INDIVIDUAL CHAMPIONSHIPS
27 – 30 AUGUST 2015, MALMO, SWEDEN

On behalf of the European Squash Federation (ESF) and Svenska Squashforbundet, we are very pleased to invite your players to participate in the European Masters Individual Championships.

ENTRY TERMS & CONDITIONS

How to enter
Only entries from ESF member nations will be accepted. Please complete the entry form online via http://esf.tournamentsoftware.com/
The entry form must be submitted to the host by 31 July 2015.
The entry fee includes minimum 4 matches depending on the no of entries – all positions will be played, welcome pack with tournament shirt, Gala Dinner Saturday and all ESF fees.

Closing date
The closing date for Entries is 31 July 2015.

Payment of entry fee
This must be paid when enetering using the online payment system.

• €118 = SEK 1100:-entry fee per person

• Early bird option-€ 100:- = SEK 950:-entry per person if entered and paid before 30 April 2015!

SPIN
All players must have an active, paid-for SPIN (Squash Personal Identification Number) to participate. This can be obtained at www.worldsquash.org/spin

Withdrawals
In the event of a withdrawal from the Championships, after the closing date, no refund of the entry fee, and penalty fees additional to the entry fee will apply in accordance with Regulations Section A.

Withdrawals before the closing date will be refunded in full with the exception of credit card fees / bank charges.

RECOMMENDED HOTELS

A list of hotels of different standards and prices will be published on the website.

ELIGIBILITY

Player eligibility for the Championships is shown in Regulations-Section B2.

SEEDING AND DRAWS

The seeding and draw will be carried out by the Seeding Panel under the direction of the Technical Director and in accordance with Section V4 of the Championships Regulations. Member nations have no right of appeal against seeding or draws: Regulations-Section E.

PRACTICE COURTS

Practice facilities will be provided at no cost by the organiser and will be available at the venue starting the day before the Championships (Regulations – Section F6).

REFEREES

Qualified referees will be provided in accordance with ESF Referee Committee procedures relating to the specific Championships and Regulations-Section F9.

SCORING

PAR 11 scoring will be used (to 2 clear points).

SQUASH BALLS

The Dunlop PRO XX ball will be used.

CHAMPIONSHIPS OFFICE

The Championships Office will be located at Bellevuestadion and will be open from 09:00 until 18:00 every day of the Championships.

DOPE TESTING

The ESF and the hosts reserve the right to implement compulsory dope testing for any player participating in the Championships. Dope testing may be carried out in line with the doping regulations published by the WSF. Member nations are responsible for informing all their participants (including managers, coaches and physiotherapists) about the latest WSF policy on doping; and must impose the standard WSF suspension from all forms of competitive squash upon a player who has used banned substances or practices.

INSURANCE AND RISKS

Players enter and play in the Championships at their own risk. Neither the ESF, the Host Association, the Host Club nor the Organisers will accept any responsibility for injury or other damages arising from participation in the Championships. ESF recommends that all officials and participants have full travel, medical and possessions insurance when travelling to any Championships.

CLOTHING AND ADVERTISING

The ESF clothing and advertising regulations will be adhered to. In all matters of judgement or opinion arising from the interpretation of this clothing regulation, the decision of the Championships Referee shall be final (Regulations – Section P).

VISA PROCEDURES

Please note that visas may be required to enter Sweden. It is the responsibility of the member nation to ensure all players and officials have the appropriate documentation and that visas are applied for in good time before the Championships.
